Various Shakers

When I first started collecting shakers, I would get any that I thought were neat, without having a theme. I quickly realized that this was a mistake. I ended up with so many and I didn't know what to do with them all!

That's about when I decided I would only collect Van Tellingen Huggables and wooden shakers. But I collected a number of neat ones that I just couldn't give up!

The Captains

These gentlemen were given to me by my grandmother. I can remember seeing them on her stove from a very young age, so for that, I love them! They have no markings and do retain their plastic stoppers!

Disney!

I've got a number of Disney shakers, though a few are in poor condition or broken. I have Mowgli, but not his match, which is an elephant. With his pair, he would be worth $180-200 (Guarnaccia 75). I always loved the Jungle Book, so he's got sentimental value now!

Mowgli is marked "Walt Disney Productions" with the date 1964 in Roman Numerals

I also have Dumbo. The set is older and the paint is chipped... Even though it looks like it was at one time marked "Walt Disney," it's now unreadable.

Disney!

I've also got a little golf bag and clubs, which I think is cute! The only marking on the bottom of this set is "H-151" and a "Made in Japan" sticker.
